The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) established the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, 2001, and decided to observe April 26 every year as World Intellectual Property Day since 2001.

 

Intellectual property refers to the exclusive rights lawfully enjoyed by citizens, legal persons or other organizations in respect of science and technology, culture and art, to intellectual products produced by creative labor.

 

We will encourage all sectors to foster awareness of respecting knowledge, advocating science and protecting intellectual property rights, and create a legal environment that encourages intellectual innovation and protects intellectual property rights.
